Professional Development

• In-service Training & Extension-funded Activities

  Several courses are offered each year by the University of Florida and IFAS Extension to allow faculty to learn new skills or techniques and/or update their existing knowledge.

• New Faculty Orientation Modules

  This site will walk new Extension faculty through their first year and beyond. In addition to these online courses, faculty will have the opportunity to attend three sessions on the UF campus during the year.

• CALS Distance Education

  Extension faculty are encouraged to pursue an advanced degree through UF's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Distance Education program.

• 2008 Extension Symposium

  The 2008 Extension Symposium (May 27 - 30) will be presented via face-to-face in-service sessions and Polycom sessions.
